“We, the members of the National Education Association of the United States, are the Voice of Education Professionals. Our Work is Fundamental to the nation, and we accept the profound trust placed in us!”
In the year 1857, a call was issued for educators throughout the nation to unite as one voice for the cause of public education. Their collective voice, passion, and legacy has forever changed the landscape of Public Education in America. The call for solidarity has never been louder than it is right now!
The entire institution of Public Education in America is under fire & relentless attack. Hurting most are our children & those who serve them. Without access to high quality public education many of our students will continue to flounder through life without the hope of ever achieving their dreams. This is why I am so excited & enthusiastic about serving alongside you in capacity.
I am running for the NEA Executive Committee because I Believe! I Believe that All Children Can Learn. I Believe that All Children should have Access to High Quality Public Education. Most importantly, I Believe That Our Children are our Future. No longer can we sit idly by and hope that things will magically change on behalf of Public Education in America! Now is the time to raise your voice and say “I Believe!”
We have all been inspired & encouraged by our brothers and sisters throughout this nation who have “laid down their lives” fighting for change on the front lines for Our Children, for Our Members, and for The Future of Public education.
We must continue this fight to ensure that the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of our children are brighter than ever before! We must continue to hold on tightly to the mission, vision, and legacy of our great union. Our students are depending on us! Our colleagues are standing with us. Our communities are praying for us!
Let’s Stand Strong for Our Students, Let’s Stand Strong for Our Members, Let’s Stand Strong for America!
